Pharmacists:
$2,000,000 E&O Limit covered by Sobeys ($140 for BC & MB)
$5,000,000 E&O Limit you will be responsible for the additional cost of $150.00 ($290 for BC & MB)
Technicians:
$2,000,000 E&O Limit covered by Sobeys ($115 for BC & MB)
$5,000,000 E&O Limit you will be responsible for the additional cost of $55.00 ($170 for BC & MB)
New Graduates & Interns:
$2,000,000 E&O Limit covered by Sobeys
- The definition of Insured includes indemnification for students and interns working under the supervision of a clinical pharmacist and will extend coverage to a retired certificate holder.
- The definition of Insured Services will also include acting within the scope of the insured’s duties as a pharmacist, including the provision of opinions and counseling.
- An additional legal expense of $50,000 is provided when called upon to appear before a disciplinary committee.
- The insurance will apply to claims arising from lawsuits in Canada.
